Apparently, plywood is a great material to work with. It is durable, it isn’t too expensive, and it has a nice look when finish is applied to it.
This is what I call The Quad Planter. The number one goal I wanted to accomplish with this project was to make my office space more pleasant. Meanwhile, putting this together was an opportunity for me to get to know plywood better.
For the record, all the pieces the Quad Planter was made of were cut using a jigsaw. This, however, wasn’t the most challenging part. As the pieces weren’t matching perfectly, I had to do quite a bit of sanding and smoothing, but it turned out great at the end.
Honestly, I didn’t like the way the planter looked once all pieces were glued together, but applying the finish brought it to life. Here’s a video on how I made it:
